"Knowing that this was an older motel, I was a bit unsure about staying here, but was pleasantly surprised by how nice and clean the rooms were and facilities. The hostess who checked us in was also very nice and helpful. The location of this motel is unbeatable with its access to local grocery, coffee and food shops as well as right next to the max line. Would absolutely recommend staying at the Viking to anyone. "

"The staff were so nice and accommodating!! The beds were very comfy, shower had the best shower head and the hot water was amazing. It was very close to a lot of places and the freeway. The most amazing part was you can watch the Rose parade from the balcony or even your room. We were three girls staying alone and they gave us the safest room without a window in the front (no one was creeping/breaking in). It is family owned and they were the nicest people!! Would definitely recommend and stay...

"We are a group of 8 friends who go on vacation for a week every year.( for over 30 years ) We are 70 years plus old! Property and views were wonderful. Many deer sightings, a view of the Columbia River. House was beautiful and updated, each couple had their own bathrooms attached to rooms. It is 3 stories, so if anyone has issues with stairs consider that when booking. We had no problem. Property owners were very attentive and would definitely recommend this property."

"This rental surpassed all our expectations in every way! I’ve stayed in numerous vacation rentals over the years, and this one was by far the best. The setting in the forest and on the Tualatin River was surreal. The attention to detail amazing. The Goat Shed & Zen dens were quite clean & cozy. As 2 older women, we felt very safe staying here. Overall centrally located and a quick drive down the road into West Linn offered several wonderful dining options. Definitely plan on staying here again....

"This is a good choice if you have an early flight. It's the best price in the area and us a decent place to stay. Comfortable beds, a good shower, and Royal Coffee in room (my favorite!) Please note that parking is $10 a night. Even so, it's still the best airport value and is so close to rental car return that you can sleep an extra 15 minutes."
