"Location & appearance stunning. Interior decoration was period and sympathetic for the age of the property. Staff were polite well dressed & at tentative to your needs. Spa was well appointed, only slight drawback was you need to get the lift up to the spa which unfortunately was out of order, so needed to walk the stairs to reach it. If you ask at the main hall bar/dinning area you can even have a small tour under the premises to the wine cellar & rooms. We look forward to visiting again."

Breakfast and diner were plentiful, tasty and well presented. Parking was good. Even though we didn't want our room serviced, we received a bag of amenities. Excellent service. Our room was comfortable and excellently presented. "
