"If we had understood at time of booking where this home is located we never would have rented it. Pinched between Highway 89, a dog boarding business to the north (which can be so loud that the owner provides white noise machines AND earplugs, which are, of course, ridiculous), and surrrounded on all other sides by junk yards. It IS NOT in the Capital Hill area. You Can Not access the home by parking on "Beck Street"; the gate to the property from the highway is overgrown. The access is off 1600 North which, like Highway 89, is blocked off because of eternal Utah construction, and then down a narrow, overgrown alley, barely good enough for one car at a time. Parking is awkward and tight and limited.The inside was surprisingly nice. It's decorated fun, mostly clean, and despite a few quirky things (like you have to fip a swtch to turn on the Main TV, and there are no codes provided for any of the exterior doors, so you have to lock them from the inside - EXCEPT the door between the house and Garage - and then go in and out of the Overhead Garage Door), it's a decent place to stay.There are A LOT of rules. but the rules are not unreasonable. They clearly exist because this owner has had problems with bad renters before.The AC works great (provided you stay within rules) the hotwater was plentiful, and the kitchen well-appointed. The beds and furniture are comfortable, and it's nice to have games and things to do.Not a good choice for those w. mobility issues."
