Very charming samll and professional hotel. We loved the small town in woodstock. The bath room was huge and room was huge too. We loved the bread specially raisn croissant it was the best I've ever had before. Really love hthe hotel and would come back soon .

Good but not quite right !

Fantastic staff and great location for Blenheim Palace. However, Woodstock is a busy town so the lack of on-site parking is a bit of an issue. It's a lovely hotel inn and we had a great room with good facilities. Note that it's on the A44 so traffic noise was noticeable and full restaurant not available on Sunday & Monday when we stayed.

Festive stay at the Crown

Had a lovely stay at the crown for our anniversary. We enjoyed the cozy and sociable pub feel with great cocktails and pizza! With the fire on and trees decorated it was very festive. We stayed a night on the top floor with a large bed and gorgeous big bath! Great location to walk to Blenheim lights and local shops. Staff were very friendly and great service. Thanks so much! We highly recommend and would stay again.

Rustic Inn

We stayed in the attic room that is quaint with solid wooden beams, but the slanted ceiling is an issue for anyone over 5 foot. Beautiful roll top bath, great cowshed toiletries but no shower. We enjoyed a very good breakfast that is cooked fresh to order. It’s served in the downstairs rustic bar area that is in need of some deep cleaning. Out of the way areas such as under radiators are sitting thick with dust. In the afternoon the bar is frequented with tradesmen still in their work clothes. Building is built with cotswold stone but outside show be adorned with with hanging baskets and window baskets to make it the beautiful English country pub it should be. Great staff. Advertised as having car parking but there isn’t any other than on street pay and display.

A great inn, we will return

All of the staff were very helpful and super friendly. The room was large and very comfortable. A fridge was provided, which was very useful. Both of us very much enjoyed our dinner. Breakfast was plentiful and tasty.
