"Enormous house on nice location and lovely view. The house is well equipped and has a large garden but could use some TLC. Wales and the Cotswolds are an hour away, Bath and Stonehenge some two hours."

"Bank Cottage was a great spot for our family to stay the weekend. We loved the spot on the river and the garden was safe for our little ones. We didn’t have to worry about anyone falling in the Severn! The cooking and dining facilities were fine and we enjoyed the sitting area overlooking the patio. The sitting room at the back of the property was rather dark and we didn’t use it but I can imagine it being a cosy space in winter. As mentioned by a previous guest there was a smell of oil/fuel...

"Issues with cleanliness of property. Issues with cleanliness of cutlery and crockery. Issues with damp and mould in bathroom and bedroom windows. Issues with damage to bedroom ceiling. Issues with dishwasher. Property manager was quick to respond and visit. Owner was quick to offer a refund. Neither VRBO nor Stay Cotswolds would refund booking fees. Very poor service from Stay Cotswolds."

"We stayed just for two nights to celebrate my husband's 50th, our family with two other families - 6 adults and 6 children (aged between 4 and 10). The property fantastically suited our needs and the host was great. We visited Little Owls Farm Park on the Saturday - just 10 minutes away - which we would highly recommend for a day out if you're staying with children."

"We really enjoyed our stay at this lovely cottage. Great proximity to the village and many other great villages and regional highlights. The cottage had plenty of room for our family of 5 and just the right amount of everything. Everything was very clean and organized. The back yard is great too as is the view of the pasture and sheep from the front. Would definitely stay there again!"

"I cannot say enough about the property and hosts! The location allows plenty of walking sites on it's on. Conveniently located for short trips by car to other points of interest if inclined. Quick responses from hosts and very pleasant to converse with. If your looking for a quaint getaway, I would highly recommend."

"We spent 4 weeks with Jane. She was always helpful and available. Lovely family. She was very good at sharing her knowledge of the area and where to go to see attractions around. It was a lovely area and ideal distance to the local restaurant/pub with good food. Local community were very friendly and it was a great area for walking the dog and meeting like minded dog owners. The added bonus of fresh eggs to buy and fresh veggies and fruit in the village with a honesty box. Telephone box...

"Cozy cottage, in the centre of Bretforton, near the Fleece Inn. A welcome pack with lots of info about the cottage. Clear instructions about what to do and not to do with your dog. Everything feels very small, with typical cottage low ceilings and narrow windy staircase except for the main bed which is large and incredibly comfortable. Fabulous nights sleep."

"Situated right on a busy road with little parking, especially for a large vehicle. No place in the bedrooms to put suitcases and had to climb a spiral staircase. No mirrors in the bathrooms except one small vanity mirror…. No toilet paper holders, ensuite bathroom was very unusual. It had a shower over the toilet and small sink. We had problems with heating and managed to get a bit of heat the first night but not again after that. It was extremely cold and damp weather for July and without heat...

"We really enjoyed our stay at this property it was very clean and had everything we could need the owners were very helpful and friendly possibly the need for a dryer may be helpful . Just a word of warning if using tha garage just make sure to get the car straight before going in . Norma and Tony fieldhouse"
