"The hotel and staff were lovely. The location is perfect as we loved spending as much time at the beach, and not too far from the lanes. The hotel was clean and provided you with all that you needed even completely coffee and water by the front door. I would have wished that the doors to the rooms closed a little quieter as our neighbours kept slamming it especially late in the night. But apart from that we loved our stay! "

"Met up with my best friend for overnight stay in Brighton. Upgraded to superor sea view room with balcony, robes etc. This was because of a function in hotel & luckily nicer room available away from noise. Reception staff really friendly & helpful. Stored our bags when we arrived too early for our room. Enjoyed our stay 👍"

Hotel staff extremely helpful and friendly. Room was tight, but as this was a short stay, not an issue. Overall, very pleased with this stay"

"Terrific 500 year heritage property worth seeing as a past local coaching inn. Owner and staff are as friendly as can be and very helpful, the food was excellent, modest room size. You are well taken care of and the village is one of a kind in the region, easy bus transport to Worthing and Brighton. I recommend the Village House and will stay again."
