"The owners are not good people and just openly rude. They bait you into arguing about politics. They advise a fireplace but refused to even turn it on when asked. Roaches everywhere . The bartender from Germany was the only good thing about this place . Avoid no matter how cheap it is . "

"Staff welcoming and nothing was too much trouble! Really liked the parking as we could keep our car parked until 3pm on the day we were leaving. Which to me was a great advantage. The rooms could certainly do with a revamp and some cosy furnishings & lamps. On the whole a good stay for us! "

"We had a meal on the first night which was very good. Guinness pie with mash and an Angus burger. Food was served hot and was very tasty 😋 The room was clean and tidy with a big bathroom. One small issue was a loose toilet seat but it was sorted as soon as I reported it to reception. Overall a good 2 night stay. A cooked breakfast would have made the stay even better but there was a continental breakfast, fresh fruit, cereal, toast, yoghurt etc."
