"This facility is probably the dirtiest, nastiest hotel I might have ever stayed at. Hair in our sink, absolutely REAKED of cigarette smoke, no turndown service, grass and weeds were waist high, even the towels smelled disgusting."

"The Glen Club is always my go to hotel when staying near Chicago. I love its more private location because it feels like a quiet retreat away from the city. Every time we have stayed there it has been peaceful, cozy, and incredibly comfortable. With only 21 rooms, the boutique atmosphere makes it feel even more exclusive and relaxing. The hotel is consistently spotless, beautifully updated, and very well maintained, and the onsite restaurant is excellent. The only things I would love to see improved are the temperature control, since you have to call the front desk to adjust it, and the elevator, which could use a refresh to better match the rest of the property. That said, these are minor compared to the overall experience. The staff has always been extraordinarily kind and helpful, and it remains the only place we choose to stay when visiting Chicago."

"Perfect location for me. Dissapointed there was no breakfast. Awesome pool. Lovely room, very clean. No morning staff to help with luggage cart to check out. I will choose this hotel again and again!"

"Check in was friendly and fast. I would stay here again and again. After we checked out I realized that I left two sentimental bracelets on the nightstand and went into a full panic. We called the hotel and they immediately went to the room, found them and held them until I could pick them up."

"We stayed for 4 nights. When we arrived, there was a water leak from a ceiling window and a gap that allowed rain and snow inside. The leak and window were fixed right away, which we appreciated, but we still experienced a very loud, constant noise from the vent above the stove that kept us up, and maintenance said nothing could be done. Only 1 of the 4 stovetops worked, which was not resolved.The positives were the free and easy parking, convenient location, and simple, hassle-free check-in and check-out."
