Very quick to use Google translate so communication was great. Highly recommend !"

"What a privilege to stay in such an old property with so much history. The room was a lovely size, very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was tasty too. The highlights were the wonderful woman who runs the place and the hotel’s charming, traditional style, which has been very well maintained. The street it’s on is fantastic, and this town was my favourite of the 15 places I visited during my trip to China."

Great location in the middle of ancient city - everything is happening outside your doors and yet peaceful courtyard. Free Pickup and drop off from train station was a nice service with courteous attention. Overall well run hotel and well appointed. Parting gift of intricately paper cut motifs.’"

"We found the hotel to have a lovely traditional atmosphere, the rooms were large, with many traditional features, we had Chinese breakfast that was interesting. Misha welcomed us and was extremely helpful, we had free tea, we were picked up and dropped off at the station, we loved her! And she spoke very good English! Lovely experience, we were very happy and impressed with it"
