"This was generally a nice property to stay in. There were a few technical issues on check in but these were sorted very quickly. The wifi isn’t very strong and as soon as I moved into the bedroom it disconnected me every time. Overall it was a very clean place except for the kitchen. Most of the dishes in the kitchen cupboards were dirty and I had to wash everything before I used it. As was the stove top and bench. "Fantastic weekend and the property in Friar Gate is ideal. 10 minute walk to Derby city centre. Shops and pubs even closer for essentials. Staff on site to help and responded immediately to all requests. Highly recommend if visiting the city. "

"This is a subdivided residential unit. It's small and does not have a table for eating. We found that it was missing some basic amenities like bedding for the second bed, hand soap and tea towels. There was also a party above us the night we stayed. The host was responsive on WhatsApp. I would not stay again."

"The apartment is very spacious and at the price a steal. It is comfortable and the toiletries and tea, coffee, etc. were all fine. The rooms are nice and it looked like a great deal. But we ran into some problems: it was a 3-bedroom apartment with two full showers/toilets. "Great communication with host in advance of our arrival. Nicely appointed apartment with all amenities. Parking difficult to find in the area during the day, although it is free. Easy walk to the Jewelry Quarter and breweries / pubs and there is an Aldi very close by; Tesco is a short drive away. "Property was what we expected. Only niggles I’ve got are: Beds in the second bedroom were a little small, I’m 5’11’’ and was too tall for it. There was a constant sound from what could have been a boiler that did keep me up at night. Host was responsive and polite though. Overall good stay. I’d recommend, but for slightly smaller people who don’t mind constant noise."

"This was such a great location - near the train, near the Town Centre, near restaurants. And it was such a cozy, relaxing place. We stayed 2 days and then came back for another 2 days and it was so nice to have a place that was familiar and a place where I know the owners were responsive and considerate, not to mention clean!"

"We booked the apartment in August 2023 so the family could attend a music event which was local to apartment. On the day of Travel 26th April 2024 the booking was cancelled via email.. No phone call to warn us but an alternative 30+ miles away was offered in the email. Unfortunetly many other people have fallen fowl to this sort of approach due to many hotels being sold out and high prices starting to appear due to both the music event and a Wolves home football game.
