"All I can say is stunning and beautiful. The home and outside area were so comfortable, welcoming and gorgeous. Full of character and charm. The home was clean, functional and well appointed. The view!!! Spectacular!! Our host was always very responsive and there when we had a question or need. One of the most beautiful places we have ever stayed in. Loved also that there was a bottle of lovely white Greek wine, vegetables, fruit, bread and cheese waiting for us. If we have the opportunity to visit Crete again, this is where we would most certainly choose to stay. Thank you Despina!"

"Great location on the seafront. Plenty of tavernas close by. Comfortable room, & a free buffet breakfast. A kettle would have been handy in our room & a shower riser rail is needed in the bathroom, as it is difficult to shower with one hand especially if you're washing uour hair."

"Our holiday in the Villa met all our high expectations. The Villa has superb accommodation and outside areas and facilities. The Management Company looked after a couple of issues which arose, including loss of hot water, very quickly. Makry Gialos is a fantastic and authentic resort, away from the tourist hot spots. "Our second stay here and it was just as good as the first time. Spacious and well equipped. Air conditioning kept it comfortable at night. Brilliant pool just a few metres away and with the beach and village just a few minutes walk everything you need is within easy access. We had a small water leak in the bathroom but 30 minutes after reporting it a member of staff arrived and it was quickly fixed. We were expecting a clean at the end of the first week. It wasn’t a big deal and we could have chased it up."
