A special shout out to the hotel porter Andy who spoke great English and was so helpful during my stay and truly went above and beyond in his customer service. The hotel is a 25 minute walk to the closest entry point onto the City wall (Changle gate), which I highly recommend to rent a bicycle on. "

"We stayed for 2 nights at the Grand Hyatt Xi'An in a Grand Club King Room. We went to Xi'An mainly to see the Terracotta Warriors. For us, we found this hotel was isolated from the main part of the town of Xi'An. We needed to take a taxi to get into the town centre. Apart from that, the room, the staff and the food were all at standard of what we would expect from the Grand Hyatt group. For us, the location wasn't the best."
