10 Friends went on a Week long adventure. The accommodations were great. A little bit off the beaten track but great otherwise. Did the El Yunge Rainforest as well as Icacos Island. Communication was great.

The house was perfect, plenty of room for 6 of us. Very clean and well organized, and the pool and outdoor area had a lot of seating and hanging out space. It's very quiet in the neighborhood, beautiful views of the surrounding beach and trees. Would recommend and stay there again.

The property is gorgeous and incredibly well maintained. It's secluded, yet still very accessible by car from San Juan. My family had a wonderful time relaxing by the pool, wandering along the beach, and gathering in all of the areas inside and outside of the home. Madeline and Jose added many nice touches including holiday decorations which made us feel right at home. You could not ask for better hosts.

We had a great vacation with our family that included three grandchildren 4 and under. The bedroom layout was perfect, and the common areas a good size for a large group. The outdoor space and pool was perfect--we really appreciated the way we could choose sun or shade when outdoors. Loved the gazebo! Outdoor shower worked well and helped keep the house clean. Lots of games for the kids. Plus, the instructions and restaurant recommendations were clear and good. Thanks for a great visit!

My family and I stayed at Casa Amapola for the Thanksgiving week. It is very serene, with amazing ocean and mountain views. The house is very clean, the pool is great, everything works, nothing more you could ask for. The house is in a gated community, and it’s close to all the restaurants and nightlife. Things are really jumping from Thursday - Sunday, and very relaxed the other nights. The house is very close to shopping too, super convenient. We will be staying there again in the future for sure, thank you for everything José and Madelline! See you soon!

There were two couples and two single people. The house was perfect. There is a bonus outdoor shower. The house is well stocked with kitchen equipment, there was extra sunscreen, aloe, and a cabinet with staples such as olive oil, vinegar, spices, sugar, etc. they have a Bluetooth speaker available. we cooked dinner in several nights, Ralph’s grocery store is about 13 min away. La Carreta by Patty’s restaurant is 3 min away and is fantastic, the family who runs it is so friendly. the walk to the beach is 3 min, there is a calm part to swim in but also if you are good at body surfing the waves were good for that. The house has beach chairs, and beach towels. We would stay there again.

We had an amazing time at Casa Amapola! This was our first time to Puerto Rico but it truly felt like a home away from home. The neighborhood was quiet, and well kept. We hit the nearby beach daily and finished the each day in the pool. This was an all around perfect vacation spot.

This place was perfect for us. The pool was relaxing & getting to the beach was easy & within a 2 minute walk. Anytime I had a question Jose got back to me quickly. It was close to a grocery store & other small stores. EL Morillo was our go to spot to get food. So if your looking for a nice quiet place to take your family I would highly suggest Casa Amapola 🤗

We loved staying here. The location was great! It was a short walk to a beautiful beach, close to groceries and plenty of places to enjoy the Puerto Rico weather. If we find ourselves back we will definitely stay at this property again.

We really enjoyed our stay at Casa Amapola! The location to an incredible beach was priceless and the amenities of the house itself did not fall short on anything we needed/wanted. The web pictures don’t do the property justice. The space is classic Spanish style and has more than ample room to acomódate our family for the month. The beach within view and the pool were all we needed to relax and l unwind from our life back home. We hope to return one day as this was a true home away from home experience. Jose was always just a text away if we needed anything. Hurricane took out the power to the house. We had solar power which took care of almost everything. There was 9 of us total and we had a blast. I recommend the snorkeling out of fajardo beach.

We booked our vacations at Casa Amapola after reviewing lots of other rentals and I have to say that Madeline and José have done a beautiful job with this property. The pool area provided my family with the perfect atmosphere to build unforgettable memories. The kitchen was nicely equipped and I was able to cook with the confort of my home. We decided to get away for the fourth of July and Camino Nuevo was the perfect place. It was quiet at night and the pool was the perfect temp. Very hospitalable and polite. Highly recommended.
