River and Ocean View. Single level home, fun for all ages! Fenced yard for dogs!

Surfview is truly a special place. Ask any of our guests and they will tell you… about the VIEW! But that is not all they will tell you. Our home is comfortably furnished and thoughtfully appointed with all of the amenities that you could wish for while on vacation. Our oceanview kitchen is well stocked with cookware and appliances as well as spices and baking necessities. The kitchen is truly a joy to cook in. Relax and enjoy the view in either living room or family room. Each has it’s own large 65" flatscreen Satellite TV (with Roku) which makes it comfortable for families with smaller children. We have a large wrap around deck perfect for grilling outdoors.

The house is located on a quiet cul-de-sac with (easy) private beach access just a 2 minute walk from the house. If grandma and grandpa don’t want to go to the beach, it’s not a problem as they can watch all of the happenings right from the comfort of our living room and family room windows.

Please note: While the house is one level, there are some stairs required to get into the house. Specifically, there are 5 stairs, then a small landing, and then another 5 stairs to the front door. Please inquire if you have additional questions.

Excellent Beach Property!

This was our 4th time to stay at this property, and it was excellent as always! The house is clean, comfortable, well stocked and has a fantastic location. We’re looking forward to our next trip already!

Home away from home

This property is like a home away from home. It’s cozy & welcoming. Perfect for a family that has a bunch of teenagers that want to play board games & run down to the beach! Pet friendly which makes it perfect for the whole family to join in the fun!

A slice of heaven

Chose this place as it had 3 bedrooms, the reviews saying the kitchen was well stocked, and the amazing location of being at the mouth of the river as it dumps into the ocean. Best vrbo I’ve ever had! Seeing the ever changing tide and swell of the river was exquisite entertainment and education for teen grandkids. We will be back!!

Amazing property!

This was our second stay at this property and we’ve already booked it again. Wonderful location, clean and comfortable. The kitchen is newly updated with beautiful counter tops and a new sink. The house is very well stocked. Nikki, the host, is very responsive and helpful with any question. Perfect spot to enjoy the Oregon coast.

Fantastic place

We stayed here for a week with two families of four. The place was much nicer than the photos. A lot of space for four adults and four children. Kids loved being on the river and a quick walk to a great sandy beach to play at the ocean. The house was fully stocked with supplies. We would definitely stay here again.

We were very happy with our stay at this property. And our dogs loved walking on the beach... their first time to the ocean. Weather was fantastic while we were there so spent a lot of time on the deck enjoying the view of the river and ocean. Hope to come back next year!

Wonderful location for those who like the river with the ocean as backdrop. Deck out back is narrow but works for two or three adults. Lovely reading areas with water views from inside. Walk to town for fish and chips or candy...or all.

I gave my family a getaway for Christmas 2024 we stayed October 2024 we I lucky enough to snag this property with freshwater river feeding into the ocean.. we seen baby otters playing in the water so cute and fun. The Perfect Location

I will definitely stay here again. The close proximity to Yachats allowed us to be able to walk to town and not have to worry about parking. Even though it's located near the101 HWY, we were not impacted from the HWY noise. This house overlooks the river and inlet to the ocean. We had amazing birding opportunities from both the living room and dinning room. Honestly, I didn't want to leave.

Perfect Beach Trip

We were three generations with kids, parents and grandparents. Everyone found lots to do and see. The house is well equipped for cooking in, well located for eating out and sight seeing, and stocked with games, puzzles books, TV. Couldn't have ask for more! Thank you!

Great View

Very nice and clean. Enjoyed seeing otters, seals and salmon swim by. It does need more handicap accessories as it was trying at times, especially the shower. Could use also an update for the TP. I never stayed at any place that had such cheap, see through toilet paper. Kitchen had everything you could think of.

Wonderful stay with the best views!

This wonderful rental was just what my sister and I needed. The view is amazing; it is so cool to have both the river and the ocean RIGHT there. The interior is lovely, clean and cozy with having enough room for a bigger group. It's often not possible to get a rental with a fenced yard that is beach front- it makes it much more relaxing to travel with a pup. The location is also amazing- you are a hot spit from all the adorable Yachats has to offer, as well as a great jumping out in to wilderness or taking day trips to Florence and Newport. Can;t say good enough things about this place and grateful Nikki shares this wonderful place!

Amazing!!

This property is absolutely amazing. The views are Gorgeous! It is centrally located to the town and to beach access...a very easy walk to either. We saw all kinds of wildlife, eagles, whale spouts, swifts, heron etc. We were jokingly calling the dining room window our wildlife TV. The house has everything you would need for a gourmet meal, tons of movies and books and comfortable furniture. Would absolutely rent again!!

Beautiful and powerful

Our group of 5 had a wonderful stay in this house. It was well appointed, had all the necessary kitchen tools for meals at home and was a cozy enclave at the end of the bay. Each day we were front row to the power of the ocean meeting the river as the high tide and waves came in so did all the big massive logs. It was very exciting. The location of the home is perfect also for walks into town and also across the bridge over to the rocky areas. We enjoyed ourselves greatly and will consider this house again in the future when we return to Yachats.
