"Close to everything food and bars, very nice walking area and a short drive to downtown. The apartment itself was super nice and very spacious. I'll stay here again!"

"Nice and spacious room, good location, easy walk into downtown Vancouver and Stanley park. Only downside and I'm not sure if its the hotel or Expedia using a 3rd party site when you book but it advertises a kitchen is included but upon check in you have to pay an extra 25 dollars if you want to be able to use the oven."

"We stayed at Pearls place as our of town family for my siblings wedding. As the property was 2 blocks from the wedding venue, it was in the perfect location!! Pearl was communicative and helpful. Definitely recommend staying here! "

"Overall condo was a good experience. Plenty of room for the family (7 adults). There was some leftover trash in the upper deck but since the weather was rainy it didn't impact us. The general area is 'ok' - some convenient walking, but the area seemed a bit rough with a lot of homelessness/addicts and some sketchy behavior. "AVOID IT AT ALL COSTS!! We didn't even end up staying at this place. There was a guy, literally, crapping in the alley when we drove up. On top of that, there were people in the alley banging on doors and screaming. We got into the place that it was ~25C inside, and apparently there are portable air conditioners, which we never saw in the 5 minutes we were there. One of the rooms smelled like someone had taken a dump in it, and with the fact that it was about 30C upstairs, we decided not to stay...

"My fella and I needed a place to stay close to Vancouver General Hospital for a six week medical stay. I had a list of needs and wants when I began looking for accommodation. "The Sutton Place Hotel is lovely! I had read some poor reviews, but we did not have any problems. The only negative would be the size of the shower--very tight for a tall person and a big person would have a hard time in there. Our servers for dinner and breakfast were friendly and the food was good. I like having carpet in my room, for comfort on my feet and sound mitigation. The carpet was nice, but there was one stain, probably coffee. Beds were comfortable and neat. If you want real quiet, get a King suite with the separate room that does not have a window so you don't hear street noise. Also a great location! Just valet your car and save yourself the headache of trying to park downtown."
