We had a room with half board and enjoyed the 24 hr Natural hot spring within the hotel. Free shuttle to the bus station after check out was helpful as it snowed the night before

Comfortable and pleasant stay

I love cold weather and snow, so that part of Northern Honshu was perfect for me. I also have family in the area to drive me to Zao, which is a lot easier than taking the bus! This hotel is clearly on the older side, but that really didn't detract from the whole experience, which was positive. The bath was relaxing and though it wasn't large, I never felt over crowded. The beds were comfortable~ sort of an amalgam of futon and boxspring. Though I wish they were on the tatami, it was nice that they were by the windows. I am pretty sure I've been in those particular onsen baths before, so I am wondering if this hotel has existed in the past under different ownership with a different name.

1) Lack of socket in the room. I need to unplug the tv so that the socket can be used for charging my phone. Or i have to use the socket located near the toilet side which is so inconvenient. 2) The outdoor hotspring is so small. 3) We have called concierge for getting the shuttle bus service from ropeway station to hotel but they said the service is only available between bus terminal and hotel. So we have to walk from ropeway station to bus terminal after we get off from the ropeway after visiting the tree monsters at peak.

先日親子共々、宿泊させて頂きました。施設等は清潔さはあり第一印象は悪くなかったですが、駐車場が坂になっており少し停めずらい状況です。夕食ですが主食が1品と後は漬け物の小鉢が数点。海鮮はなぜかカルパッチョ。ご飯に関しては食べ応えが全くなく最低でした。お風呂は乳白色で気持ち良かったです。スタッフのサービスは接客がいい方と悪い人でわかれてました。若い方の方がサービスが良かった感じです。また泊まりたいとは思いませんでした。残念です。

お風呂最高でした！ ご飯も美味しかったです。 従業員の方はラテン系や中東系の方が多かったですが、皆さん日本語がとてもお上手で、すごく丁寧な方たちでした。 気になった点 ・チェックインの時に外湯巡りのチケットのことや、日本酒試飲チケットのことをもっとしっかりと告知してほしかったです。 ・ロビーに喫煙所があって、臭いが防ぎ切れてなくてホテルに入った瞬間にタバコ臭ってなったのであまり印象が良くないように思いました。 ・ご飯のお品書きがあるとより楽しめたかもしれません。 ・ウォーターサーバーを風呂場以外にも設置していただけるとなお良いと思いました。

アウトサイドバス＝風呂は最高でしたよ！

温泉は最高でした。屋根に当たる雨音で熟睡できず。 アウトサイドバス、クラブルーム、すべて紛らわしく 思っていたものとは違いました。 部屋内に風呂がないことをアウトサイドバスと言い、 クラブルームというのは和室の部屋にベッドがある部屋を言うそうです。 夕飯も鍋料理、手がかからないようにしてあります。

완벽한 료칸

별 기대 없이 갔는데 너무 좋았습니다. 서비스 청결 온천 친절함 환경 모든것이 완벽했습니다. 온천은 긴잔보다 압도적으로 좋았고 직원들의 친절함은 감동적이었습니다. 자오온천 버스터미널까지 셔틀도 무료로 아용 할 수 있어 편하게 오고 갈 수 있습니다. 다음엔 부모님과 함께 방문하고 싶습니다.

nice place

The location is good, near bus terminal and also Chuo ropeway. Convienent to transfer and ski. Staffs are friendly, Onsen is open for 24h, very nice.
