The city is a mess, noisy, smelly... not walkable… a very welcome to Myanmar.. ;-)
Yangon Downtown is noteworthy for its shopping, and you can make a stop at top attractions like Junction City and Bogyoke Market.
The restaurants and museums are a few reasons travelers visit Hlaing. Though there aren't many top sights in the neighborhood, you can visit Inya Lake and Kaba Aye Pagoda, a few notable attractions nearby.
If you're spending some time in Insein, Kyauk Taw Gyi Pagoda and Kyauk Daw Kyi are top sights worth seeing.
Unique features of Bahan include the lake views and gardens. Make a stop by Shwedagon Pagoda or Kandawgyi Lake while you're exploring the area.
You'll appreciate the coffeehouses during your time in Chinatown and you might want to plan a stop by Junction City and Bogyoke Market while you're in the area.
Yankin Township is well-liked for its restaurants. You can also take some time to explore sights in the surrounding area like Myanmar Plaza and Myanmar Gems Museum.

Myanmar people are very unique humble compassionate respectful and discipline manners indeed soft spoken and simple daily life in Myanmar is basically self contend no greed no temptation but happy at the end of the day beautiful natural country
The people I met were helpful and kind. I also spent a lot of time at the old Bogyoke Market, where you can see so many styles of handicrafts, gems, textiles, paintings, lacquer wares, etc.
Yangon is a developing city, more ATMs available than in the past, lots of ancient cultural sites to visit... a remarkable experience.
Be prepared to spend long time in a taxi
A lot of traffic jams one place to another one go there so much have a time. Waste of the time on the ride . If you want to relaxing out of Rangoon. That is much better.you visit out of town first after visit Rangoon.
