"Could not be happier about my 2 days stay at Rakucho ryokan. The room was perfect: clean, quiet, the futon super confortable and the showers/toilets clean and surprisingly quite modern. The host was very welcoming and offered really great suggestions for my stay. The small bike rental shop he suggested (“Bike laboratory”) really made my trip to Kyoto a memorable one. "This is a very nice and clean accommodation! I stayed just one person for 3 nights. Owner is friendly, helpful, and kind! Close to major bus routes. Shower and bathroom were clean and easily accessible. Great guest house, i enjoyed my stay!"

APA Hotel Kyoto Gojo Omiya

10/10 Excellent

"I heard APA hotels were “cheap hotels”, however this hotel was better than some in the states (US). They had laundry, they’ll hold luggage prior or after check in, they’ll forward your luggage too. Walkable to train station 10 mins. Cafe next door has better breakfast in my opinion but they’re about the same price. Curry place up the road has great food. And burger revolution nearby is a great option too. Family mart and 7- eleven are close too. I would stay again. "

"This is a beautiful hotel with the utmost consideration to detail and service. The staff provided excellent customer service, always with patience and smiles! The hotel is located within a comfortable walking distance to the train and subway, as well as the wonderful Nishiki Market. Being able to do laundry was a great convenience! I highly recommend this hotel and would definitely return."
