"Our finest day was borrowing bikes from the hotel and bicycling to Kirinda. Wonderful secluded beach 12 Km from Tissa.
Also the evening flight of fruit bats from the large trees at the lake was fantastic. Be there at dusk."

The one staff was a great guy, so freindly and helpful, i was in the area to visit national park and he arranged this for me. Don’t let that put you off because the hotel was very clean, comfortable and had AC, cold fridge and served good food. Breakfast on the veranda was memorable, it is such a beautiful setting, the omelette and fruit was delicious and so well presented.
We walked along the lake each evening and enjoyed seeing the locals spending time and having fun there.
