"This was our fist time staying in Palmas del Mar. Our stay was pleasant and we all enjoyed it. This apartment is very clean, spacious, with all supplies and a lake view. "We had such a great time at Carlos' property in Humacao. Palmas del Mar is a great location with many beaches, pools, shops and restaurants within the community, as well as lots of additional amenities within Humacao proper. The property that we had originally booked had a maintenance issue shortly before our stay, so Carlos moved us to another of his properties, in Mare Sereno, which was absolutely gorgeous. "I just stayed for 2 days. I paid $350/night - I couldn't enjoy it because it was raining all the time. (But it's not their fault). Pros: location, pool, size of the apartment, balcony, cons: the apartment needs an upgrade: furniture, bed (make noises) bed sheets, bathtub, elevator was not working, the beach was full of seaweed and the tides too strong. If you are looking for luxury ...this is not the place for you."

"We had a wonderful stay here as a family of 4, including my husband and 2 young kids. The place was clean, updated, and had everything we needed. Was very nice having a covered balcony off of kitchen/dining room that we could enjoy day or night, as well as a large terrace up the stairs. Walking distance to pool that we usually had all to ourselves. Felt very safe in apartment and it was in quiet area. The host was extremely responsive and helpful during our stay. "The condo was perfect for the 5 of us adults. Beds/pillows comfy. AC was great as it’s hot in PR. Our kids are 20,21 and 22. Huge tv where they watched movies at night. Yoga mat provided and daughter did hot yoga on the roof top. We cooked most of our meals in the condo…numerous pots,pans,knives and utensils to make our meals happen. "Jose was always just a text away if we needed anything. Hurricane took out the power to the house. We had solar power which took care of almost everything. There was 9 of us total and we had a blast. I recommend the snorkeling out of fajardo beach. "
