"The owner did not give us details of access until after 12 noon on the day of the holiday. we were all coming from different areas. He came to see us that night and told my son to close the only window in his room, as it was broken. Luckily it was not too hot a weekend or he would have roasted. We had to call our hosts with a power issue on our first night and they couldn't have been more helpful. "Lovely little house, with everything you need for a home from home. Downsides- there is child lock on the Wi-fi, not good for a tradesman working away. Cold house- woke up every morning shivering. Wasn’t sure how to set heating timer. And next door there are elderly neighbours who must be deaf- they are night owls and I’m sure their tv is directly opposite the wall of bed stand. Was maybe 2am before all was quiet. Also nothing to do with house but there were scrambler bikes going up and down...

"My son and I visited with some friends and their kids for 1 night over the may bank holiday. The house has plenty of space and the kids enjoyed exploring and picking their rooms. It's close to a Budgins and fish and chip shop so food was easily available. We went to Stanwick Lakes which is only 20mins drive away and a giant free adventure play area."

"Wow! What a fantastic place! We stayed here for a week but could have stayed longer it was one of the most peaceful and relaxing places we have ever stayed in the world! "Unfortunately when we arrived at the property, the cleaners were still cleaning. We were meant to check in from 4:30pm, we arrived at 5:28 and the cleaners were only half way done. We had to wait about 3hours for them to finish. The cleaning was mediocre for a deep cleaning. But the stay was good for us as we made use of the local area and the house was nice it just wasn’t spotless for a deep clean. "Bad stay - the host did not send me check in details on the day of check in so I had to chase her up and she didn't even apologise for the hassle. One of the mattresses is so uncomfortable, you can Feel the springs. If you travel as 2 the host locks the bedroom doors for 1 room, is there any need? Overall, the place is okay but the hassle is not worth it "
