"We had a wonderful experience at this property. The location is perfect. We traveled via train and the station is literally right across the street. As for the hotel it has wonderful ocean views. It is the perfect starting point for a walk along the waterfront. I am a huge Agatha Christie fan so this was the perfect place to stay and start our experience. The hotel is very grand - like the name - but also very inviting and comfortable. All of the staff were wonderful. Highly recommend!"

"Clean, practical, with most things you need, an iron and hairdryer too. I would have liked to have had plant based milk cartons in my room instead of dairy though, so l could have enjoyed a cuppa in my room. Shower head is fixed to the wall too, making it difficult to shower properly. But otherwise all was good. Staff are very friendly but not enough of them on reception. Cafe is nice, again, vegan options not as obvious as I'd have liked. I spent ages trying to work that all out. Generally a nice stay though. "

"Only a one night stay, unfortunately. Lovely welcome on arrival. Was asked if I had a room style preference the day before. I didn’t, but what they chose was fabulous. Room service breakfast was on time, warm and a very enjoyable eggs benedict. Left happy. Thanks lots. "
