Deposited my luggage with them before check in so I could go sightseeing. When I came back to check in, they told me they had already transported my luggage to my room! "Lovely staff that helped us look up times for trains and buses to Takeda Castle Ruins. As well as helped us getting a taxi because apparently there’s only one out there 😅
It’s a 20 min walk on flat ground from the Wadayama station so be ready for that.
Also the taxi from the hotel to Takeda Station was around 2800 yen just fyi"
