Okuhida Garden Hotel Yakedake
We stayed here as a family of 5 (2 adults and 3 kids - 10, 6 and 4) in the traditional Japanese room. We didn't get in till 6ish and left early so we could get to Kamikochi but I wish we had of added another night or at least got there at check in time to make the most of the facilities. Izumigo, AMBIENT Azumino Cottage
Really spacious cabin, clean, friendly and extremely helpful staff. We encountered minor issue during our stay but was being dealt with immediately. We really love our cabin, the mountain view is gorgeous and it comes with full kitchen amenities.

The house itself is beautiful but all around it is extremely badly taking care of. The yard is a mess, the grass high, and just next to some run down green houses.
