The lady who checked us in was friendly and pleasant. We had 2 rooms. The first room was clean, but there were so many gnats in the bathroom, around the sink, and around the lampshade. The second room did not have that issue. It was a simple place with dated rooms, but for the price it was to be expected. Parking was convenient. Breakfast included a waffle maker, cold cereals, and bagels. I couldn't recommend the coffee or juice, but the milk was fine. The gentleman at the desk for check out was also friendly and pleasant. Overall, it was a decent stay, and if you're on a tight budget it would be a good place to stop in overnight.

Great place to stay, clean, simple, very clean comfortable beds. Park in front of room, outside access, 1950/60's motel experience, just needed a room overnight to continue on our trip.

Good for the Price

First two rooms that were supposed to be nonsmoking, smelled worse than an ashtray. They did move us to two new rooms that were acceptable. For our one night stay, at the price it was a clean bed to sleep in. 3 stars for the price alone. The second rooms were acceptable and no other issues. It’s an old motel and it shows.

It was in a good location. It is an older building. The room was okay. A bit on the dirty side. They had office chairs and the seats were very stained and dirty looking didn’t sit on them. One queen bed comforter had stains and holes on it. Didn’t sleep on it. Chose other bed. The floors were not real clean either.

The hotel is close to the interstate and places to eat. It was also close to the convention center. However, the carpet was not vacuumed and we could not access the tissue/kleenex because the metal piece was falling off. Also, when we put the hand towel back on the holder, one side came off the wall. It was good for a night's stay, but there needs to be more maintenance to make this a more comfortable stay.
