The Space:

Located in a quiet residential area within easy walking distance of the historic city centre of York, York Minster and the railway station, this beautifully appointed period property offers its guests a true home-from-home experience.



Recently renovated and tastefully furnished throughout, this house offers two good-sized bedrooms, with super king/twin and kingsize beds, an attractive living area with a stylish kitchen, induction hob and oven. There is also a large fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washer/dryer and microwave.



There is a lovely walk in shower/bathroom located on the ground floor.



There is a smart TV, free fast wifi and a cosy private courtyard for guests to use.



The stairs are quite steep so not suitable for unsupervised children or guests with reduced mobility.



If you are travelling by car the nearest pay and display long stay car park is at Monk Bar Car Park, St John St, York YO31 7QR, this is just a short walk away from the cottage. Parking is not included with your stay. alternatively the Just Park website provides further parking options.

The Neighborhood:

Quiet peaceful cul de sac, close to city centre. Large supermarket 5 minutes walk. Very close to York St John's University.



Getting Around:

To reach the property by car, the most direct route is to take St John Street, off Lord Mayors walk - turn right at the bollards at the cross roads with Garden Street - head down to bottom and turn left onto Lockwood Street.



There is no parking at the address - only a 10 minute allowance to deposit luggage and then alternative parking will need to be sought - the nearest car park is Monk Bar Car Park.



City centre within walking distance.



Other Things to Note:

The stairs are steep.
