"This hotel is in a great location. They renovated the lobby and restaurant in the recent past, but the hotel rooms and hallways are very dated. Time for a renovation / refresh. This also included the pool area…( old).. room rate for what you get is not good"

The tasteful curation of each element in the renovation. The East coast warmth of Lara in meeting me to detail the history. The peaceful and scenic location yet only 10-15min from downtown. The cleanliness and comfort throughout. It was a perfect send off for my last Christmas in Halifax!!"

"We booked Seacliff for our 25th wedding anniversary and it was everything we hoped for and more. The host provided so many thoughtful touches, including a great selection of coffee, soft drinks, and a fully stocked kitchen. The views were absolutely spectacular. We spent hours watching seals, sailboat races, cruise ships, and freighters go by, and loved having the telescope to get a closer look.The welcome binder was very helpful for figuring out how everything worked around the house. We really enjoyed the hot tub overlooking the ocean, and the boathouse was another special place to relax. The outlook above the house gave us yet another amazing view.We didn’t have a car, but that wasn’t a problem. Uber to and from Halifax was easy and very reasonable. We highly recommend Seacliff to anyone looking for a beautiful and relaxing getaway by the sea."
