Newer Cabin with Mountain Views, Near Lakes, Golf

New (Fall 2006), two bedroom, mountain cabin near Young Harris and Hiawassee, Georgia. Great room/kitchen with 15-foot cathedral ceiling, master bedroom, guest bedroom, and laundry all on one floor. Long-range views of Brasstown Bald (highest point in Georgia) from all rooms and balcony. Beautiful natural wood floor and trim, stone fireplace.

Cabin is at end of paved road, adjacent to large woods with hiking trails. Five minutes to Brasstown Resort/Golf Course, 10 minutes to Lake Chatuge Marina, 25 minutes to Murphy, North Carolina.

Awesome experience

Cabin was clean, well stocked and was nicely secluded. It was close to many places but just far enough to be private. Bed was extremely comfortable and the view of the mountains was awesome! Loved the back porch/balcony. Gas fireplace was soooo comfy! Thanks for sharing your lovely cabin! :)

A Gem

This place is beautiful. It is so peaceful you don't even want to leave. The view the serenity of the mountains everything. It was a great disconnect from it all and a great way to recharge batteries. My in-laws came with us from Puerto Rico and fell in love with everything also. Linda was great too she answered any questions we had. Thank you for lending us your beautiful place. We will definitely return if you'll have us.

Amazing peaceful cabin, in beautiful quaint mountain town!

We absolutely LOVED our stay in this cabin! It was cozy, well-stocked, quiet...perfect for relaxing and enjoying the mountains. My small family stayed here, and we really appreciated the added comfort of the gas fireplace (which really heats up the place!), the full kitchen, big closets, stocked linens and paper products, laundry facility, and more. We enjoyed the Mountain View off the back deck, overlooking Brasstown Bald. Thank you for sharing your perfect little place with us! Some close by areas we enjoyed; Brothers restaurant, Helton Falls, horseback riding at A Step Above Stables, drive up Bell Mountain, hiking to the summit of Brasstown Bald, High Shoals Falls, and Tallulah Gorge State Park...all amazing and so fun. We will definitely be back! Happy New Year, Linda!

THE HOUSE IS WELL EQUIPPED WITH EVERYTHING YOU NEED. BIG DECK WITH BEAUTIFUL VIEW. FIVE STARS EXCEPT FOR THE FACT THAT THE HOST THOUGHT VRBO HAD EMAILED US ADDRESS, DIRECTIONS, AND ACCESS CODE, AND VRBO THOUGHT THE HOST HAD. ONE CALL TO VRBO CUSTER SERVICE SOLVED THE PROBLEM. The Perfect Location

The cabin was the perfect location for attending the Lapidary school next door. The cabin met all our needs with the separated two bedrooms. The beautiful view off the back deck made it hard to leave the cabin.

Perfect location , beautiful accommodations , nice walking trails on property . Close to other cities to explore . Helen , Blue Ridge , Hiawassee and Blairsville. Nice places to eat close by . Very scenic area . Would love to stay there again.

Quiet, secluded and cozy

My husband and I travel to North GA every year for a week of relaxation and motorcycle riding. We trailered the motorcycle up and brought our little dog with us. This cabin was perfect! Well equipped kitchen, cozy bedding and a peaceful, scenic deck on the back! Would definitely go back! Clean, pet friendly, quiet!

Convenient location, central to many things, yet nice and peaceful. Hiking trail off property into the woods. Cabin was clean and comfortable. Nice balcony to relax. Easy drive, ok for regular cars.

Mountain Retreat

Exactly what I needed. The cabin is secluded but a 15 minute drive from fast food and a grocery store. Perfect size - great fireplace, well stocked kitchen, and the cleanest property I've stayed in. Drove to great hiking trails, sat on the deck to admire the view, and rested! Thank you!
