"We came in to town for a wedding. The place was extremely clean and the quality of the space was better than the listing pictures. It was near a good variety of restaurants and things to do. The only down side was that downtown Lafayette can be loud at night. If you plan on going to bed early this may not be the spot for you. If you enjoy being close to night life, this is the perfect stay for you!"

"Waking to roosters crowing, horses running and beautiful sunrise was a treat! Friendly host stopped by to chat while we were arriving to be sure everything was in order. Easy to find and close to everything!"

"A little work and could be a cool place. 1. Doors didn’t lock right 2. One toilet would not work, no water. 3. Many light bulbs out. 4. Yard was an overgrown mess. 5. No cold water in down kitchen sink 6, had to buy toilet paper. 7. No kitchen towrls. 8. No bathroom amenities 9 few functional chairs. Many broke 10. Price was right but a little TLC would go a long way. Owner told us he would have someone out to fix toilet on day one. Never heard from him the rest of the stay."

"Enjoyed the inside and outdoor atmosphere so much. We had a fire in the fire pit while we played music at night. Cabin was so close to Avery Island and Jefferson Island, the places we wanted to visit. Weather was perfect the entire time we were there. Explored small towns around us and went into New Iberia as well. One suggestion would be to have recliners or ottomans for us seniors! Loved it overall!"
