Great family place!

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The playroom downstairs with the fenced yard is perfect for kids- our toddler was ecstatic with all the toys! Though an older home, its been nicely updated and maintained.

Functional for our needs

We were in town because I was undergoing a medical procedure and my family needed a place to stay for about 5 days. The house was clean, quiet, and well stocked with snacks and personal touches my family appreciated. The host was super willing to be flexible for our needs.

Great location and price

Host went above and beyond with a personalized welcome basket. Very quick and great with communication. Place was as advertised and my kids had fun with the toys in the ‘playroom’ area. We were in town for a wedding and the location was perfect!

Awesome rental

Close but not too close to downtown Detroit. The neighborhood was quiet and felt very safe. We enjoyed our stay and appreciated all the little extras. Would stay again next time we’re headed to the Detroit area.

First time in VRBO

We have always stayed in hotels til now. Our stay in the VRBO was absolutely wonderful. We were joined by my son, his wife and our 3 grandkids. There were games to keep the kids entertained. I highly recommend this VRBO as it is also in a great location.

ECU vs Michigan

Family stayed the weekend to attend the ECU vs Michigan football game. The house was a great location and value. She had so many thoughtful things already in the fridge and around the house to make the stay even more comfortable. Check-in and out were very easy. Highly recommend.

Love all the little extras

The house is in a nice neighborhood. Paved sidewalks make for great morning walks. All the little extras provided by Ms. Penny were awesome! Snacks, bathroom amenities and the all important coffee were such a welcomed addition! Good location to get to plenty of attractions and activities! Well done!!

Great Host and location

Our host was awesome and always available with instant access. The location, for what we were using the property for, couldn’t be better If there was anything that could make the property better would be adding Hulu to the television for live shows. Other than that it was perfect. We are going back to Ann Arbor in 2025 and will be booking the property for that weekend.

More wonderful then I ever imagined

Everything was so much better then I could have imagined. The host had everything we needed and more. This will be my yearly place to rent when going to game days. My wife and parents where so comfortable and truly felt like home. I highly recommend this listing wether it be for game-day or just visiting the great state of Michigan. Thank you so much for your hospitality and we will see you again next year!

All the Extras!

This was the most immaculate stay!! Everything was clean, everything was usable, and there were so many extras! I’ve never had a rental fully load me up with snacks, beverages, even a bottle of wine! There was a small surprise to take home, every place to hang out was comfortable and equipped with anything you’d ever think of needing. This place was well worth the cost considering the extras and the location. Thank you for sharing your space!

Ypsilanti, Michigan vacation

We drove 2 and a half days to visit our son and wanted a house instead of hotel for the 6 days we would be in Ypsilanti. Both our host and the house were amazing. Snacks of all kinds were waiting for us, including a bottle of wine! It was so welcoming after driving a long distance. Another family member traveled with us so it was very nice having 2 1/2 bathrooms. The house was exceptionally clean. There was plenty of room for us and it was very relaxing. It was on the edge of town in a quiet subdivision so we were able to take walks in the neighborhood and enjoy the Michigan autumn. Our host really wanted to make our stay special and she did! We highly recommend staying here!

Good, not quite great

Five adults (two elderly) and one 12 year old. Reserved for a week. Quiet neighborhood, convenient to everywhere we needed to go. House a bilevel with many stairs up and down to get to living areas. Difficult for anyone with mobility issues. Very clean and nicely decorated. Snacks and drinks provided by hostess very thoughtful & much appreciated. Communication with hostess always prompt. Some things needed fixing: dripping faucet in master bathroom and nonfunctional ice maker in fridge. Also, lights over entryway outside and inside were out. Probably needed new bulbs. Kitchen basic but not quite adequate for us for a week of meal preparation. Would have liked a tea kettle. Dining table seats four. House advertises sleeping eight. Eight would not be able to sit down at table. The six of us barely managed by crowding in a couple of stools. Beds were comfortable enough. Queen beds in two bedrooms and a double in the third. No single (twin) bed, instead, a single sized blow-up mattress which we set up in the living area as there was no room for it in the bedrooms. It worked okay, but wasn’t what we expected. (Tried futon in open area downstairs, but not comfortable.) WiFi worked fine. As there’s no cable or satellite, no TV access to news programs, just Netflix and the like (not all bad to take a break from news, however 😊). All in all, a reasonably satisfactory stay, but probably wouldn’t stay there again, chiefly because of all the stairs.

Absolutely wonderful property and Terrys attention to detail was off the charts, up to a complimentary card for me and my husband, bottle of wine, little snacks, comfortable living room and bedrooms, stocked kitchen with coffee and creamer, soda and water-so much more too. Terry was so prompt in responding and we felt safe and cozy in her home. Stay here if you’re going to a Michigan game-located about 15 minutes with an easy commute, but away from all the hustle bustle. Cute town with all stores needed for food or other necessities. Will definitely stay again!

Wonderful, clean home in a quiet neighborhood. So many extra touches: tray of snacks, home-made welcome card, coffee, cold drinks and bottle of wine in fridge. Comfortable beds with silky smooth sheets. Only 1 suggestion: softer, fluffy pillows. Mrs. Moneypenny is lovely!
