Beautiful hotel on Lake Geneva. Great breakfast brought to your room each morning. The private balcony overlooking lake Geneva is wonderful. My wife and I have stayed there twice. Great overall experience
Hôtel Restaurant Du Port is a very unique and beautiful hotel in one of the most beautiful towns in the world. It’s a wonderful experience to stay in this hotel having breakfast at the balcony and appreciate the beautiful lake view. The dinner provided by this restaurant is beautiful and delicious. The room is very clean and comfortable. I am really pleased with our stay with this hotel!
GReat place and amazing staff. Sadly the restaurant was closed so it's a bit odd being in a hotel with no bar or food service at night.
Would have been nice to have a drink on our sun deck which has a fabulous view.
The beds are really hard and I know that's the case in Europe but these are really hard
Lovely staff, painless check in although car park for hotel is a 5 minute walk away up a steep hill, but fine as no cars permitted in the village. Hotel staff and restaurant staff were very attentive, and is in a beautiful setting, great breakfast too. Yvoire is beautiful.
We stayed in room #1 with views over the lake. Amazing! Food was Ok definitely had better. But staff was unbelievably friendly and helpful. Family owned for over 200 years. Great small shops right outside. We will be back.
Now sometimes you arrive to a place you would not like to share with anyone. I felt like this in Yvoire. After Annecy the village felt like heaven with tranquility and only a handful of tourists or people. Late May working day maybe provided to that, but it felt amazing to be able to go for a swim without anyone around early morning, the quietness of the streets and the most beautiful Lake Leman (=Lake Geneva). You can take cruises if you want, we didn’t, just enjoyed the village which is small and there’s not too much to see except the beauty.
Hotel du Port is small, only 7 rooms, ours (maybe all of them?) had fantastic lake view, just beautiful. Service was very friendly and helpful, bit of hassle with the payment though. Hotel has very nice restaurant on the first floor with a lake view, we had dinner there. Room had a balcony with 2 chairs, cozy place to watch the tiny port and the lake (afternoon sun though can be too hot for sitting there). Minifridge in the room. Deco nice and bathroom/toilette with great lights and modern. Parking few hundred meters away underground with Hotel Cecile (modern and for once fairly wide spots). Get a code from the hotel so you can drive through the gates to drop the luggage, the arch to drive through is very narrow, we didn’t bother but dragged the luggage from the garage, it is not that far. Hotel breakfast, continental 20eur, that is quite a lot, not to mention the ‘pick what you want choices’. Understandable though, not a budget choice
This hotel is quaint and charming. We were able to have our breakfast on the balcony overlooking Lake Geneva which was unbelievable. It also was one of the best breakfast with the tastiest milk and yogurt I've ever had.
Empfehlung 👍

Disliked: Staff & service, amenities
