"Quiet, clean and well staffed. This Motel 6 needs exterior cameras especially in the back of the Motel asap. Too many people lurking on the back balconies and under stairways. "

"So we rented a room with a “valley view” the immediate area was overgrown and not much of a view through the trees. The hotel itself was very nice, close to town and clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room clean and well appointed. The hotel itself was very quiet, not a lot of noise like a lot of other places. I would definitely recommend staying here if you’re planning a trip to Solvang. "

Started with the friendly check in, delicious and plentiful breakfast, sparking pool and the really really great Scavenger Hunt in which we found all of the items and won a prize! "Hotel.com needs to update the listings for the Ballard Inn. It is not possible to figure out which room you are selecting when booking on Hotels.com. There are rooms in the main house, and separate rooms in the carriage house. It needs to be more descriptive on the site so customers can book the room they would like. Ballard Inn is a B&B we have been visiting for 20 years. Yes, it has changed in terms of breakfast offering and more limited happy hour snacks, but we still really love this place and keep coming back."

"We had everything we needed. We didn’t need to leave the hotel because it had everything we needed. Restaurants were excellent. Staff was friendly and helpful. Complimentary bottled water was a nice touch!"
