"A brilliant construction and location in the stunning gorge location. Lovely room and large patio to enjoy breakfast alongside the roaring river. Parking was manageable at the roadside, and the lift ideal between floors. The owner and waitress were charming and informative, but we were both startled and disappointed at the continuing grumbles from the receptionist, especially when asked about messages that my daughter had sent there."

No lunch time bar snacks but the restaurant opposite offers a full lunch and dinner menu. The additional charge for breakfast was excessive. The hotel is outside the town of Corte so we needed a taxi to and from the railway station which was very expensive given the short distance."

"This is not a luxury hotel, BUT if your interest is a calm "refuge" this is the place for you. It is located along the Restonica River. Grab a seat along the bank and take in the peace. The walls are a little thin. You can hear the people in the room next door taking a shower, but don't let that stop you from staying there.
