"Very quiet, relaxing and nice open spaces. We had a suite with patio/terrace and it was so nice - a great interior space with a mini kitchen with high end appliances and a giant exterior terrace with lounge chairs. I'd say the only negative was the truly terrible pizza at the on-site pizza restaurant. But that's easy to skip by driving up to Monchique for better food."

"beautiful view but very little staff in each villa only available at the main reception which is a 7 minute walk uphill difficult for someone that’s less mobile and older and didn’t get the room we originally booked but view was beautiful as was the spa for the price"

"A lovely authentic cottage in pretty gardens. A gem to find a rural property within walking distance of good restaurants. The hosts were friendly and helpful. Useful to know... If you arrive after 9pm, all the supermarkets/shops are closed, so get the basics you need or want for the night and first thing in the morning, such as water/coffee/milk before you leave the airport. The pool is a great size with lovely views. The Monchique area is delightful. A lovely holiday. "

"It was very peaceful setting to spend three days just relaxing up in the Highlands. You definitely need some form to reach the hotel and if you want to eat out in the evening the nearest restaurant was about a 1/2 mile away. It was a bit too cool to use the pool, but it sure looked inviting."

"Just wonderful ! Very hard to leave. A little paradise, owned by local family, who also provide homemade baking, their locally grown berries and everything for Breakfast. So quiet, 1km from coast, very accessible, safe, clean, comfortable, just gorgeous! Lovely staff, great pools, so relaxing xx everything you need ❤️ close to amazing beaches , restaurants and walking trails !! Easy checkin and SO WELCOMING 🙏 "
