"The surroundings are spectacular. The view of the castle from the patio area with the fountain is superb. The staff, especially Jirina, are superbly friendly. There is plenty of free parking. However, the place is tired & lacks investment. The style is that of your grandmother. The last decoration was perhaps in the 1980's? The furniture is old & soiled, rather than antique. The maintenance is cheap & patchwork. There was no TV in the room. There is no shower (just a bath with shower...

"Nice Bavarian cultural hotel with local foods. Lunch comes with limited options. Dinners were usually ok except one day. If you don't eat meat it is a bit hard to find something suitable to you. You may need to request room cleaning if you need. Great place for kids, they can navigate themselves above 3yo. "
