"We fell foul of poor customer service from both Expedia and the hotel. We booked one night at the start of May to attend the final of the Europa Conference league final. Within an hour we cancelled as got a flight, ticket and hotel deal via the football club. I dealt with Chatbot who said they'd contact the hotel. Expedia admitted this did not happen. So when a few weeks before I started to get emails welcoming me to my forthcoming stay I was in contact with them again. Told no refund available...
"They didn’t provide the correct type of room, and there was no way to resolve the issue because they have no staff on site. Their support phone number was just a recording that hung up after it played. I ended up having to sleep in my car. There was also mold on the bathroom ceiling, and bugs on the floor."
