"A rather simple hotel, but it was spotless. The bed was reasonably comfortable, hotel staff were INCREDIBLY friendly and helpful, and the shuttle to the airport was free and easy. Hand soap, shampoo, body wash, and drinking water were provided, but no conditioner or coffee/tea. I tried the restaurant for dinner one night and honestly hated it (expensive, unseasoned, and was served partially cold), but the breakfast was pretty solid. I would likely stay here again, especially if I needed to be close to the airport."

"We had an absolutely amazing time at Poas Volcano Lodge. We went in the off season and there was only a few other guests on the property so we felt like we had the whole place to ourselves. The trails around the property are expansive and lots of fun to explore for a fun afternoon walk/hike. The food at the restaurant was nice and the service was good. Having a glass of scotch and some Costa Rican dark chocolate with a good book in front of the wood burning stove and listening to the rain patter on the tin roof before dinners was a treat as well. Location was convenient to some great local places to see and visit. Staff was so helpful to help us book our tickets to the Poas Volcano National Park. I'd go back for sure!"
