"Peace lodge was very beautiful . It has so much to offer with feeding the animals they rescued to enjoying the beautiful waterfalls right on the property. The only downfall of mine was they don't have air or a ceiling fan but overall it was a great joy staying here . "

"We felt in love with this place. Jorge the son of the house is very helpful and he likes to share with his guests, he is an excellent English speaker. We enjoyed the pool (natural spring water) and the view. The breakfast is very traditional and good quality. We thanks to whole family for this experience. "Absolutely loved and enjoyed my stay here. The service we received was exceptional and we were very happy to stay in La Finca Lodge as we had a great room and view of the mountains. Everything met our expectations and we loved having breakfast here! The front desk gave us recommendations for food and activities which we strongly appreciated! "Owner was very friendly and accommodating. Helped us with seeing wildlife in the surrounding rain forest. He delivered our daily breakfasts with his car…..a short drive from his house to our cabin. Refreshed our sit-in pool during our stay. Upon our request….gave us coffee for the coffee maker. Very friendly owner…..enjoyed chatting about wildlife!"

"The staff was incredibly welcoming and hospitable. I have never been greeted with such open arms and taken care of after all the staff was done for the evening. They came out and cooked me and my two colleagues and wonderful meal and delighted us with stories and suggestions for activities. A must stay if coming to the area!"

"På grund af vejens beskaffenhed nåede vi ikke op til hotellet. Det var en meget bumpet og til tider oversvømmet tilkørselsvej, så vores lokale chauffør nægtede at køre os. Vi valgte derfor at blive på “hovedvejen” og endte med at sove i Grecia, den nærmeste by. Alt endte således godt, fordi vi blev adopteret af en lokal. Hotellet kan kun anbefales til rejsende med en meget kraftig 4-hjulstrækker. "

"Edward kicked our trip off to a great start! As a single mom traveler I worried about a lot but Edward is amazing. He picked us up from the airport in the middle of the night. "For reference we stayed in Atenas Costa Rica April 14th through April 19th. The house is gorgeous, and the view from the backyard is stunning. On two separate occasions toucans came to the tree in the backyard to feed on the berries. We also had 6 head of cows/ bulls wander up one morning while we enjoyed coffee on the back porch. The late afternoons did get warm, but we just cooled off in the pool. We did not see any rain while we were there. The nights do cool down, but was still a little...
