"We stayed at the Hotel Sukha for the Europa League Final, the hotel staff were superb, excellent customer service (Indurre, Jourre, Dani, Onintza & Maitetxci). Our taxt driver let us down last minute but the hotel staff all called around and ensure we had a lift to and from Bilbao. We also enjoyed breakfast and an evening meal all the a very high quality. We were a group of 6 and would all recommend this hotel and area of Spain."

"Beautiful Parador in the middle of no where. Very little English spoken but every member of staff was charming - especially the bar staff. We managed to communicate and have a laugh at the same time. "

"Hotel IJ is a gem of a property deep in Basque country. Set in a gorgeous rural environment atop a small village and surrounded by hills and farms, it is the perfect country getaway. The building is as stunning as the photographs and the rooms have an elegant\ vintage charm to them. Regarding food, breakfast was our favourite meal with dinners at the cafe being little underwhelming. We never got a chance to try the fine dining option. All the staff was very friendly and helpful. I want to put a special mention and appreciation for some front desk staff members who went above and beyond to assist me with a concern with my car rental. I was treated unprofessionally by Avis with a car breakdown but the staff helped me with the language barrier and service concern in a foreign country and I really want to thank them for that and look forward to visiting again. "

"The location is very convenient, and we appreciate having covered parking available, with lift directly to room floors. We also appreciate the pet-friendliness. The room was very spacious, clean and comfortable, with a convenient mini-kitchen. The bathroom was also spacious and clean. The breakfast buffet was delicious with a wide variety of fresh choices. Unfortunately, there is no restaurant for dinner, but the nearby shopping mall had several choices for dining, even on a Sunday night. We would definitely stay here again."

"Oscar speaks no English, but that was NO problem. Very accommodating and funny. We would have spent more time, but schedule did not allow. Breakfast was ready for us in the morning, and all the coffee we wanted. Old world charm, and very nice. Oscar truly was a great host. "
