"I loved staying in this charming hotel, literally a minute’s walk from the Hbf. The front desk folks are friendly and welcoming, the property impeccable, my room (a single on the top floor) a delight. I didn’t have breakfast, but I’m sure it would match the standards of the hotel in general. Not expensive and the convenient location makes it an obvious choice for a traveller arriving by train. Highly recommended!"

"The Station is a mere 3-4 minute walk from the Mannheim Hauptbahnhof, so it is conveniently. I opted for a slightly bigger room this time and was not disappointed as it had the "Hairspray" theme (yes, the John Waters movie). Since I was on the back, it was super-quiet and rather spacious. My only complaint was no fridge, but then again, Mannheim was so cold that the water and wine bottles on the window ledge stayed perfectly cold. Nice wine bar and good selection of local wines. I texted a family member at the hotel and the clerk called a taxi to pick me up at car rental and drop me off at hotel. That meant a lot!
