"It’s nice and quiet "

"I am a frequent Margarittaville stayer....this had all the feel of one, but not the FLUFF. One can tell it was an older hotel redone. The breakfast was over priced at $29, it was all you can eat, but its breakfast. All the workers were amazing especially the bartenders at the Chill bar. I would stay here again, but i guess i was expecting more of a spread out resort feel. I came the week before Memorial Weekend....so a lot was "closed". But it would be over priced at the summer rates i saw....

"Ventilation in the property was poor in the casino and outside the room areas. Room was clean and comfortable. Staff was satisfactory but not great."

"Enjoyed the tiki bar on the beach, but it closed at sunset, which we wanted to watch. Then wanted dinner and that closed at 8 so we missed it. People on vacation often eat later, so 8 is a bit early. The place was a little run down, but for the price it was fine. "

"We really enjoyed the great location of this unit. We were right in the middle of heavenly village and able to enjoy multiple restaurants, live music, and family activities all without having to load the kids up in a car. The room overlooked the pool which was nice as well. The resort itself really caters to families with multiple family friendly activities planned each day and different fun pool side snacks (popcorn, cotton candy, popsicles etc). "Beautiful Lakefront Escape for a Large Family Gathering. My family of 9 adults and 1 toddler stayed at House of the Stars over the holidays to celebrate my dad's 80th birthday. The host was extremely accommodating, allowing us an early check-in so we could settle in before the celebrations began. The home was immaculately kept and had everything we needed to feel comfortable as a large group. The kitchen was well-stocked with all the pots, pans and appliances necessary to cook multiple meals...

"Great place. Fun game room with pool table. Well-equipped kitchen. Nice hot tub and plenty of bathrooms. Need to bring own soap/shampoo. Super market within a mile on main road-close to S Lake Tahoe if you like that. Multi-levels, so if steps are a problem, not your place, but no problem for us."
