The Hotel Continental is not the newest building but it has wonderful staff who made our stay delightful. We only wish that we could have had a longer stay!!

No body at reception, just a sign to go to another hotel. Booked 2 rooms. Paid same price for each room. They were nothing a like, 1 reasonable size the other, absolutely no where to put lugggage, had to put on the floor in front of the door, so couldn’t go out without putting suitcase on the bed. Bathroom so old!!! Shower over a very deep bath. Definitely not recommend

Enjoyable stay

Large room, great that it offered amenities such as kettle and a fridge. Breakfast was basic but fine. Great location and view from patio was amazing. Beds were fine but the pillow was a bit flat. Staff were nice. Overall happy with the stay.

We had two renovated rooms and really enjoyed our stay. Breakfast every morning was great which was included. A few things that were unexpected that are worth knowing (although we didn’t mind) - there’s no fridge in the room or ice anywhere in town (you need to leave any food and drink out on the balcony in the cold), the lights in the hallway are operated by a button so you are in darkness when you come out of the room or first enter the hallway, there’s only one physical room key which can complicate splitting up groups
