Wonderful place to stay in Zermatt. Centrally located. Lovely, comfortable and well appointed rooms. Make sure you get a balcony room. Staff were very friendly and helpful. I would stay at Hotel Tannenhof again if/when I am in Zermatt again.

We had been traveling around Europe for over three weeks when we arrived. We found the bets to be the best yet!! It’s well located. The staff were always kind and very helpful. We hope to return to Zermatt sometime in the future. When we do, we know where we will be staying. Super grand bonus!!! We absolutely fell in love with our little balcony. We even had a little hummingbird come and visit every night. You can’t make this stuff up..

It’s a boutique hotel. Modern. We booked the two bedroom which was spacious but unfortunately the hotel doesn’t have a/c and our room was located at the very top so it was super humid and hot. We had two electric fans going and it was still quite warm and took the entire night to cool down. We also weren’t too impressed with the breakfast. It was basic and prob the most basics between all the hotels we’ve stayed in Switzerland.

Staff was very friendly and extremely helpful with all of our train system questions and booking online. Breakfast was excellent as was the onsite restaurant. Two negatives: the room was very small and tight, and the room location offered awkward / little privacy. I didn’t realize at booking that the room looked directly into the doors and patios of the property next door, and the only window was directly over a pathway: entrance to the property.

Lovely boutique hotel off the main tourist road to be quiet and peaceful, but close enough to be in the middle of shopping and restaurants in minutes. We’ll stay here when we come back to Zermatt!
