"Fantastic location if you are a city-center person. Eas exactly what we where looking for. Just go out the door and you are in the main (walking) road… Mantova was a nice experience of something real Italian after some day with the other tourists in Garda lake. Besides this is a really lovely and lovely city. Clean and quiet after midnight. Ps we run the friendly 10 km in the Mantova half marathon. A perfect way to do a city! "

"All good, the only issue has been a misunderstanding (I guess) with the owner: we asked space for a third guedt and separate beds, and we paid the difference accordingly. A third bed was not arranged thoug; instead we had a double and a single bed, which was not at all ideal. Plus the WiFi code has not been provided. Other than this, lovely house, immaculately kept, and a very lovely location."

"No check in information was provided. No one answered when I rang the contact number. Luckily a maintenance person was passing and he helped. The room smelt of cigarette and the maintenance guy tried to say it was the air freshener he used. In fact I think it may have been that they allowed smoking right outside the windows of the room. "Betty’s House….what an amazing B&B. It’s a hidden gem. Rooms are lovely, clean and spacious with a beautiful balcony overlooking the garden/pool area. Breakfast was fab. Defo plentiful and a good variety of it. What’s makes this place even more beautiful is the owner Betty. What a lovely, friendly and helpful lady. Really enjoyed our stay. The only disappointing thing was we had only booked to stay for one night!! Will defo return and highly recommend Bettys House to anyone staying by Lake...
