"We came to Zen and Pine Resort to hike Mt. Yushan. Although that wasn’t possible due to road closure, on the manager’s advice, we instead visited nearby Sun Moon Lake and hiked Mt. Shuishe, which was amazing and rescued our whole trip. I can’t say enough good things about the management of this property. "The location within the park is wonderful - allows early morning solitary hikes - before the tour buses arrive. Hiking again around noon or after is also better as the tour groups are more spread out throughout the park. The buffet was really good!"

"Would easily recommend staying here as the staff were very helpful and the location was perfect. Note there is no car park at the property but you can park at the top of the hill close by for free public parking so you need to be fit enough to take your luggage up stairs at the hotel and down a steep road for about 50m to get to the hotel from the carpark.
