"The pool was right out our door. The vegetation that was around the pool made it perfect we could follow the shade around. Very quite. Had the pool to ourselves most weekdays. The condo was very clean. No complaints about either bed. Both bedrooms as well as the living area had new air conditioners. The condo is priced accordingly for its location. We felt very safe. "We enjoyed our stay at this unit. The bed in master bedroom was very comfortable. The apartment stays fairly cool due to the direction it faces and concrete design. The kitchen had an assortment of pot’s and pans so we could make simple meals. The host was very attentive when we needed some help. The beach was very close however, you have to walk up and down 76 stairs. We thought the entire complex was very clean and the pool was quiet and relaxing. We hope to return someday. "

"Catalina Beach Resort is my happy place. The beach and views are amazing, the staff excellent, and though the property is a bit tired it is clean and well maintained. Their beach bar is the best and the breakfasts outstanding. Be mindful that it spills down the cliff and there are many stairs! I love this place. "
