"We had a wonderful stay! The setting of the property, amongst those green Basque Country hills, is gorgeous and the building itself has an air of old world charm. The owner and his son were very welcoming and accommodating, we loved interacting with them. We stayed in one of the studios on the second floor, breakfast on the balcony was perfect. We were there for Ironman Vitoria-Gasteiz, very convenient. 10 minute drive to the lake venue, the bike course and good running areas. We would stay...

"This is more than five star. I’ve been back three times. Once, we canceled a later hotel and went back to this one. Charming. Quiet. Food is superb. Walking up to the Mensikunute castle ruin in the early morning was a highlight as well as walking the adorable village area or enjoying the patio solitude and views."
