Charming cottage in a rural setting. Sit on your front porch and gaze out towards pastoral and mountain views. Remarkable outdoor spaces with a custom rock fire pit, hammock area, and huge side deck. If you’re looking for the perfect place to unwind without sacrificing modern amenities, this is it! Minutes from the new Ride Rock Creek mountain bike park. Indoors you’ll find an open area with an updated kitchen, dining area, and a cozy living room with a gas fireplace. Room to lounge, watch movies, play board games, or make your favorite meal. The sleeping areas consist of two bedrooms, one with a private half bath. A full bath is in the hall area across from the laundry room.

Conveniently located 10 minutes from major highways. 10 minutes from Lake Summit for lake activities. Beautiful back road coasting through the back door of DuPont Forest, with multiple trailheads for hiking, biking, and waterfall seekers. Fawn Lake Access is less than 9 miles away for swimming and light hiking. Kayaking down the Green River less than 10 miles away in Saluda, NC. Historic Hendersonville just 12 miles away for shopping, breweries, vineyards and site seeing. Endless possibilities!

We stayed in the house while working on an event in the area and it was great. Accurate listing, clean, etc. The only thing we’d note is that the driveway is a little tight if you have multiple large vehicles. But overall the property is great!

Perfect reading retreat getaway!
My friends and I stayed here for a weekend for a reading retreat to celebrate a recent book release and it was absolutely perfect. The house was well labeled and stocked with things needed for a good stay. We loved both fire options (inside and out) and felt it was the perfect place to stay for our retreat. We hope to stay here again for the next book release!

We enjoyed our stay at this property. The house was very well furnished, I.e.; kitchen supplies, games etc. While not their fault, watching television was impossible due to VERY spotty internet. I did not care for the checkout procedures of this property. You were supposed to strip the beds, start a load of clothes, start the dishwasher, and so on. I feel this is included in the price if staying there.

Quiet Retreat
Our family wanted to get away from the city for a few days and spend a quiet weekend in the mountains. This cottage did not disappoint! The view from the front is amazing. The beds are super comfy. Everything you need is right there, from dishes and utensils to grilling supplies and games. It was such a wonderful, stress free weekend.

To say we were impressed is an understatement. The hosts had everything available and labeled. We were amazed at how clean of a property! The lighted walk was great (we made it in late), the beds were very comfortable, the fire pit was a nice asset, and we were close to hiking, shopping and sightseeing. We wanted to stay longer but could not. Thank you for helping make our mom/daughter get-a-way a huge success!
