"Very clean and comfortable. Have restaurant at the property. Breakfast was super awesome. Have bike rental and located near the flower gardens. Staffs were super kind and helpful. Only issue was that checking in timing is not 24 hour. "

"A unique spot and a unique room. Just be aware it is a typical old European(steep and narrow) climb to the rooms. Check in is in the bar/restaurant. They were very accommodating for my wife’s gluten allergy for breakfast and for supper. A little out of the way,but we used a park and ride to get into Amsterdam. "

"Piet and Marianne were very thoughtful hosts. They were proactive, responsive and in touch through the netite experience. The compound is very beautiful and peaceful. With the canals and open fields, it was a serene place. The compoind includes campgrounds and the campers were very quiet and respectful. Hughly recommned! "

"Nach Buchung bezahlt mit Visa. Kurz vor und nach der Ankunft 2h telefoniert und irgendwann jemanden erreicht. Der Vermieter sagte er bräuchte 1 1/2 bis 2h um da zu sein, wegen der Schlüsselübergabe. Verabredet war dass er sich meldet wenn er 15min entfernt von der Unterkunft ist. So lange (es war mittlerweile schon 19Uhr) wollten wir dann noch essen gehen. Um 21:30Uhr meldete sich keiner. Also zurück zur Unterkunft und angeschellt. Jetzt machte jemand auf. Er sagte es tut ihm leid, es liegt eine...

"This property was beautiful and perfect for our family. It gave us space to share meals as well as having our own bedrooms. The owner was delightful - very friendly and helpful. The steps are very steep, however, which is typical of Dutch properties so be mindful if this is going to be a problem for you. The house is easily accessible and within walking distance to Schiedam as well as shops and dining options. We used a taxi from the train station. Can’t wait to be back and to stay here...

"After spending a week staying in cities, we were SO happy to take a breath and long walk in the countryside at this gorgeous farm. They have fully renovated, modern and impeccably clean suites inside its historic buildings. With its multiple beautiful outdoor spaces, this B&B works just as well for a family as it does for a family reunion! We just loved it. "

"Weird location but such a cool place to stay and it’s in the heart of tulip fields!! The place was immaculate and so serene and beautifully landscaped. Rent bikes and bike into Haarlem — it’s such a charming area and picturesque as you bike there. Staff was great to communicate with before I got there — however after I arrived I emailed them twice and they never responded. Also it’s not possible for US citizens to rent the lodge’s bikes online so figure something out with them beforehand because...

"Enjoyed our family stay on “Hortensia Eiland”. Cottage was nicely appointed with everything needed to do small meals. Took full advantage of the farm fresh eggs, yogurt, jam and milk. We felt like we experienced the Holland countryside experience to its fullest!"

"Great stay and wonderful experience near Bodegraven. Hosts we’re kind and welcoming and quickly attended to our questions. Setting is ideal with great hiking and biking close by. Bodegraven has a train station making further travels quite easy. Apartment was 30 mins drive to Kuekenhof Gardens. Very quiet at night making sleeping a pleasure. Parking on site. Highly recommend, particularly for couples. Exceeded expectations"

"My second stay there after visiting Paris and Brussels. Room is tidy and clean. However shower room outlet was faulty - water outlet is choke and waste water discharge was very slow. The engineering guy did look into it but problem was not rectified. "
