Excellent customer service approach with emails prior to visit asking if they can help you in any way and a welcome message in my room written on bathroom mirror. Real value for money experience and if I could give feedback on 2 things I would improve. Put a toilet brush in bathroom as we may need to attend to marks in the toilet before maid cleans room. It stops embarrassment and better for your staff. The bed mattress was not comfy for me as I have an aging skeleton and after a week of aching was glad to return to my own bed. I appreciate everyone has a preference about beds but it was adequate. Very impressed with the staff training and the whole experience so well done management for putting customers first, it was appreciated"

"We booked this hostel more than a month ago and arrived around 8 PM after a one-hour drive from San Sebastián. The parking lot was closed, and when my husband walked to the door, he found it locked. He knocked, but no one answered. Suddenly, a guest from a nearby window informed us that the owner had gone out and that he was alone there (with no other guests). The guest suggested we call the numbers posted on the door. We called, but nobody answered. I immediately canceled our reservation through Hotels.com, and they informed me that a refund would be processed. We had to search for another place to stay at that late hour, which obviously meant we had to pay twice for accommodation. I think this kind of option shouldn’t be offered at all So choose another option"
